Dislocated Bodies From the violent schism of Partition to the hardships of migration, South Asian bodies and psyches have been literally and figuratively torn asunder. This selection of videos showcases South Asian women directors' use of diverse styles and strategies to understand this legacy, using poetic language, archival images, frank questioning, and even animation to uncover the emotional depth of these experiences with the hope of moving beyond them.

Daredia and Sa'dia Rehman featuring several SAWCC artists from the exhibition discussing their work, process and themes.
Part 1: Moderator: Jaishri Abichandani, curator, artist and founder of SAWCC Panelists: Fatima Al Qadiri, Yamini Nayar, Carol Pereira, and Sonali Sridhar This panel will explore the curatorial process of Sultana's Dream in the context of politics and war. Each of the panelists has contributed significantly to this discourse by conceptualizing private and public spaces in their works.
Part 2: Moderators: Mareena W. Daredia, artist & educator and Sa'dia Rehman, artist & devil's advocate Panelists: Samira Abbassy, Fariba Alam, Anjali Bhargava, Anna Bhushan, Rajkamal Kahlon, Swati Khurana, & Anahita Vassoughi While exploring the process of collaboration, the discussion will also focus on compositional characteristics and motifs that address gender and sexuality.
